(“Enjoyable Vietnamese”, “us”, “we”)
The website (EnjoyableVietnamese.online) provides online language lessons with language teachers (“teachers”).
In order to help make the Website a secure environment for the purchase and sale of language lessons, all users are required to accept and comply with these Terms of Use. You agree that by accessing the Website, you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by all of these Terms of Use.
If you do not agree with all of these terms of use, then you are expressly prohibited from using the website and/or the language lessons and you must discontinue use immediately!
We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time for any reason, which shall be effected by posting of the updated Terms with indication of the modification date at the top of this page. Please check this page regularly to ensure that you’re happy with any changes.
2. Service
Our website allows you to get in touch with teachers to take individual lessons to learn a language. It may be that you are a student, a parent or an organization. Our service is available 24/7 and 365 days of the year.
All lessons offered are online only. You can meet online via video chat. We offer online lessons through Google Meet. On request we can use Skype, FaceTime, Zoom or any other video chat software.
You agree to honor the commitments you make to the teacher via the website. You agree that you will not circumvent or manipulate our fee structure or the billing process.
3. Students
Account
To use our service, you must create an account on our website. To do so, you need to book a Free Trial lesson* and enter your first name, last name, an email address and answer a few questions. An account will automatically be created and you will receive an email with instructions on how to set a password. In the case that you would like to delete the account, you must send us a request for the closure of the account by contacting our customer service.
* A $15 deposit is required and will be refunded after attending the trial lesson. Cancellations or time-changes have to be submitted at least 1 day in advance. No-show fee will be charged 100%. We ask for your understanding.
Underage students
Our services are exclusively available to, and may only be used by, individuals 18 years of age and older who can form legally binding contracts under applicable law. Individuals under the age of 18 can only use our services in conjunction with, and under, the supervision of a parent/legal guardian. In this case, the parent is responsible for any and all activities of the student.
Verification of teachers
We check the qualifications of all our teachers during the registration process. We check their educational background by verifying the authenticity of their certificates, as well as their professionalism and motivations behind offering language classes. All teachers completed a voluntary interview in which we further check their qualifications. In doing so, we sometimes have to trust the statements of the person, and we cannot guarantee the correctness of the statements.
Trial lesson
It is possible to arrange a free trial lesson with one of our teachers. All you have to do is register for a free trial lesson and make an appointment.
Teacher assigning
We will match a teacher with a student for a free trial based on the answers given by the student during registration. At any moment the student can request a different teacher by contacting us.
Payments
Language lessons on EnjoyableVietnamese.online work via pay as you go system. You pay for a lesson at the time of booking. We use the secure online payment service PayPal. The following payment methods are accepted:

Payment security
Our payment provider is PayPal. When making any payment whilst using the website or our services, you warrant that you have read, understood and agreed to be bound by the PayPal terms and conditions which are available on their website.
Refunds
We offer an unlimited option to refund lessons if cancelled at least 24 hours before scheduled time. You can contact us through our website and request a refund. Refunds can take up to 30 days. They are processed once a month.
Cancellation policy
We protect our teachers with a 24-hour cancellation policy. If you cancel your lesson beforehand, you will receive a refund, otherwise the lesson will be charged in full.
4. Privacy
Enjoyable Vietnamese takes your privacy seriously and any information provided through your use of the Website and/or Services are subject to Enjoyable Vietnamese’s privacy notice, which is available on the Website.
5. Website content and copyrights
The website and all the related products of Enjoyable Vietnamese are subject to copyright. The material on the website is protected by copyright under the laws of Vietnam and through international treaties. Unless otherwise indicated, all rights (including copyright) in the services and compilation of the website (including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, button icons, video images, audio clips, Website, code, scripts, design elements and interactive features) are owned or controlled for these purposes, and are reserved by Enjoyable Vietnamese or its contributors.
6. Harassment/Discrimination and inappropriate content
If the website permits you to post comments, feedback, etc. you are solely responsible for the content posted by you. You represent that you have required permission to use the content. When posting content to the website, please do not post content that contains ill-mannered, profane, abusive, racist or hateful language or expressions, inflammatory attacks of a personal, racial or religious nature. The spread and uploading of defamatory, obscene, harassing, threatening, abusive, racist, deceptive or fraudulent content or content which promotes crime will lead to an expulsion from our platform.
Enjoyable Vietnamese is committed to providing a safe environment for all its teachers free from discrimination on any ground and from harassment at work including sexual harassment. Enjoyable Vietnamese will operate a zero-tolerance policy for any form of sexual harassment in the workplace, treat all incidents seriously and promptly investigate all allegations of sexual harassment. Any teacher found to have sexually harassed another will face disciplinary action, up to and including dismissal from employment. Any student found to have sexually harassed another will face disciplinary action, up to and including expulsion from our platform.
All complaints of sexual harassment will be taken seriously and treated with respect and in confidence. No one will be victimised for making such a complaint.
Definition of sexual harassment
Sexual harassment is unwelcome conduct of a sexual nature which makes a person feel offended, humiliated and/or intimidated. It includes situations where a person is asked to engage in sexual activity as a condition of that person’s employment, as well as situations that create an environment that is hostile, intimidating or humiliating for the recipient.
Sexual harassment can involve one or more incidents and actions constituting harassment may be physical, verbal and non-verbal. Examples of conduct or behavior which constitute sexual harassment include, but are not limited to:
Verbal conduct
Comments on a worker’s appearance, age, private life, etc.
Sexual comments, stories and jokes
Sexual advances
Repeated and unwanted social invitations for dates or physical intimacy
Insults based on the sex of the worker
Condescending or paternalistic remarks
Sending sexually explicit messages (by phone or by email)
Non-verbal conduct
Display of sexually explicit or suggestive material
Sexually-suggestive gestures
Whistling
Leering
7. Links to third party websites
The Website may contain links to non-Enjoyable Vietnamese websites. These links are provided to you as a convenience and Enjoyable Vietnamese is not responsible for the content of any linked website. Any non-Enjoyable Vietnamese website accessed from the services is independent of Enjoyable Vietnamese, and Enjoyable Vietnamese has no control over the content of that website. In addition, a link to any non-Enjoyable Vietnamese website does not imply that Enjoyable Vietnamese endorses or accepts any responsibility for the content or use of such website. Use of any third-party website is subject to its terms of service and privacy policy. We request that our users exercise caution and good judgment when using third-party websites.
8. Limitation of Liability
You acknowledge and agree that our services are provided for the purpose of facilitating learning, not cheating. You agree not to hire teachers to complete assignments, write papers, take exams for you or otherwise do work on your behalf. Further, you agree not to use our service for any purpose that violates the academic honesty policy or other conduct policies of your school, university, academic institution or workplace.
By using our services, you agree that Enjoyable Vietnamese is not to be held liable for any decisions you make based on any of our services or guidance and any consequences, as a result, are your own. Under no circumstances can you hold Enjoyable Vietnamese liable for any actions you take nor can you hold us or any of our employees liable for any loss or costs incurred by you as a result of any guidance, advice, coaching, materials or techniques used or provided by Enjoyable Vietnamese.
We expressly disclaim any liability or claims that may arise between students and teachers. You are solely responsible for your interactions with others and any disputes that arise from those interactions with other users. Enjoyable Vietnamese is not obliged but may monitor disputes between students and teachers.
