Getting started
What do I need to join live lessons?
You need a stable internet connection and a device with a microphone and camera. You can use a computer, tablet or smartphone. We recommend the use of a computer and a pair of headsets to assure the best possible sound quality. The recommended download/upload speed requirements for Google Meet video call is 300kbps / 300kbps. You can check the speed of your connection here.
I am a new student. How do I get started?
- Book a Free Trial* via EnjoyableVietnamese.online.
- You’ll receive a confirmation email for the Free Trial lesson and an email with your account details for the Student Panel.
- Join the lesson via Google Meet and meet your new teacher and set learning goals.
- Book new lessons via the Student Panel.
* A $15 deposit is required and will be refunded after attending the trial lesson.
Can I join a free trial lesson?
Yes, your first lesson is always a Free Trial*. Just book your free trial.

How do I pay for my lessons?
We work with a pay as you go system. When you plan a new lesson you’ll pay for the lesson via PayPal.
PayPal support credit card payments. No PayPal account necessary.
How do I book lessons?
We use an online appointment scheduling system to plan lessons. To access this system You first need to plan a Free Trial which will give you access to the Student Panel.
After your Free Trial you go to the Student Panel go to Book a Lesson
You will see a booking screen like below. Select the date and time and book lessons directly in your teacher’s calendar.
How do I reschedule a lesson?
In the Student Panel you can go to Appointments. Here you’ll see all lessons that you’ve booked. Through this page you can reschedule a lesson up to 24 hours before the start of a lesson.
Does my teacher provide me with learning materials?
Yes, the teacher will provide you with learning materials.
How long does a lesson last?
A lesson lasts 60 minutes.
Are the Enjoyable Vietnamese teachers professional?
Yes, all our teachers have teaching degrees from universities. Before they start they follow a training program created by MyLinh Ho, the founder of Enjoyable Vietnamese.
Can I invite friends to join my lessons?
Please contact us about the possibilities if you’re interested in group lessons with friends or family.
Troubleshooting problems
What should I do if I miss a lesson?
If you miss a lesson, you should contact your teacher as soon as possible to reschedule it.
Our cancellation policy is 24 hours. In other words, you can cancel free of charge up to 24 hours in advance. Use the online scheduling system to cancel or reschedule a lesson.
What should I do if my teacher misses a lesson?
Our teachers are carefully selected, they do not normally miss their classes.
However, in case of a missed class, we guarantee you will get your credit back.
How can I contact the Enjoyable Vietnamese Support?
We love to help you with all your questions. We are available 7 days a week. We usually respond to emails within 24 hours. You can contact us by using our contact form.
I forgot my password. How do I reset it in order to log in?
You can reset your password by going to the Login area and click on Lost Password?.
I have problems with Zoom. What can I do?
Take a look at the support center of Zoom.
My teacher does not answer
If you can’t reach your teacher, please contact us through our contact form.
I would like to change my teacher
There can be many reasons why you want to change your teacher. Please contact us through our contact form. Let us know the reason why you would like to change, so we can look at the possibilities.
Payment
What payment providers do you accept?
Our payment provider is PayPal. You can pay with a PayPal account.
You can also pay by credit card without a PayPal account. PayPal supports Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, JCB, Diner’s Club and EnRoute.
Where do I view my payments?
Payments are processed by PayPal. You can view your payments in your PayPal account. PayPal also sends an email after you successfully buy credits.
